A Common Kickboxing Combination

A Common Kickboxing Combination Here is a classic Kickboxing combination that includes both punches and kicks. The key thing to remember as you’re practicing this combination is to smoothly transition from strike to strike.

This combination starts with the Left Foot Jab. Be sure to bring your knee up to your hands so that you’ll have maximum power for your kick.

Directly after the Left Foot Jab, comes the Jab with the Left Hand. The key thing here is to try and launch the left Jab before the left foot lands on the ground from your kick.

After the Jab comes the Straight Right Hand. Have a slight lean forward as you’re throwing this powerful punch with your right fist. As you’re rotating your right hip for the Straight Right Hand, you’re now initiating the power for the Right Hook Kick.

The Right Hook Kick is the punchline of this combination and should be the most powerful strike from this combo. Focus on fully extending your right leg so you get maximum power out of this kick.

This Kickboxing combination can be practiced at the beginner level all the way up to the expert level and will help you synchronize the fluidity between your punches and your kicks.
