When I first saw this image, it reminded me of that one last big snowfall that comes unexpectedly before winter finally gives way to spring, when you thought winter was over then BAM! More snow. Some of the sounds you'll hear in this ambience are ice skates slashing across ice (I picture a homemade ice rink in the backyard of the cabin), hands rubbing together to keep warm, a toboggan being dragged, snow falling onto a mic, snowshoes crunching in the snow, a rising and falling wind and more. I hope you enjoy!
“Isn't it true that a pleasant house makes winter more poetic, and doesn't winter add to the poetry of a house?”―Charles Baudelaire, Artificial Paradises
“The first fall of snow is not only an event, it is a magical event. You go to bed in one kind of a world and wake up in another quite different, and if this is not enchantment then where is it to be found?”―JB Priestley
