A triple arthrodesis is a surgical procedure in which permanent fusion of the talocalcaneal, talonavicular, and calcaneocuboid joints is performed. The aim of this surgery is to relieve pain from arthritic and deformed joints. Other important goals are the correction of deformity and the creation of a stable, balanced plantigrade foot for ambulation. This is one of the most difficult operation of Hindfoot surgery.
