It was 2013 in London. Ellie Butler would be found in her home after a 911 call was placed by her father Ben Butler. He would be interrogated in her death but not just because he was her father, because he had been accused of harming her prior to this. You see when Ellie was a baby she had gone to the hospital for head injuries as well as burn marks. Ellie would be taken from Ben and Jennie and put into the foster care system. Social services would then award her grandparents Linda and Neal Grey custody for 5 years. Ben was charged with harming his baby but would appeal this and be released. At this point, Ben and Jennie would fight to get Ellie back. Social services would grant them this wish and rip Ellie from the only home she had ever known to go back to her parents who were practically strangers. This is the problem with social services. Something needs to change.
