ScanGaugeII Review - Install, Engine Gauge, DTC Scanning: AN ESSENTIAL TOOL FOR EVERY VEHICLE OWNER! This is the one tool every vehicle owner should have! The ScanGaugeII (ScanGauge2) - An essential vehicle monitoring module.

This video will cover:
1. What is a ScanGaugeII?
2. Why the ScanGaugeII? (Why not a Bluetooth OBD2 module in conjunction with an app like TorquePro)
3. Installing the ScanGaugeII
4. Initial setup of the ScanGaugeII
5. The digital engine monitoring gauges
6. Programming custom gauges via X-Gauge (not for this vehicle the EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature), ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid Temperature), CT1 (Coolant Water Temperature) were programmed
7. DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) Scanning
8. Final thoughts and review

This ScanGaugeII module simply plugs in to any vehicle's OBD2 port (1996 and onwards). It allows you to read live engine data (eg. battery voltage, engine coolant temperature, transmission temperature, exhaust gas temperature, throttle position, engine load, turbo boost pressure and much more). It also has a diagnostic module which can scan the vehicle for DTC's (diagnostic trouble codes). If there are any DTC (trouble codes) or if the MIL (check engine light) turns on, the ScanGaugeII will display the active DTC's. This allows you to self-diagnose any problems and also fix them. The ScanGaugeII can also be used to monitor vehicle performance, has built-in trip computers, fuel monitor and has gauges which can be customised per vehicle (X-Gauge programming feature).
