30 min walk for treadmill, relaxing, exploring or remembering! First snow for this season, and more importantly the first sight of the sun for almost a month! I´m quite happy with this virtual walk: It takes you to some of the prettiest places in Stockholm, but also along rather mundane areas, not frequently visited by tourists. Old and new, pretty and ugly - all covered in the lightest dust of snow. The walk starts about 9.30 am on a Saturday, the sun is still rather low. Vita bergsparken with the mighty Sofia Church from 1906, and the small cottages that has housed very poor workers as well as beloved artists and writers. After leaving the park we walk towards the next area where the charming small cottages of the old days has remained around Åsöberget, with it´s great view over the city. Keep walking and we end up on perhaps two of the most popular tourist viewing points: fjällgatan and Katarinavägen, looking out on Old Town and Stockholm Inlet from the Baltic Sea. Filmed in the last days of November 2019.
