At the end of January, a house of ice will be constructed in downtown Pittsburgh in Market Square. Willing participants will stay in the house until they have met their minimum fundraising goal. The goal of the campaign is to build awareness for the many families who will go without heat during these winter months, while attempting to raise money for utility assistance grants.
You can join Morgan and other community leaders as they raise funds and awareness to provide crucial, immediate financial relief for families who are struggling to stay warm this winter.
Peoples Natural Gas, along with other partnering utility companies, will generously match every donation raised dollar for dollar. 100 percent of funds generated through the Cool Down for Warmth campaign will go directly to help our Pittsburgh neighbors in need maintain or restore their heat-related utility service.
