Assalamu’alaikum. My name is Widhi Muttaqien from Expose Academy. In this tutorial video, I want to show you how to place background images or reference pictures on the 3D viewport and also on a camera view inside Blender 2.8 or above. Essentially we’ll be using a new type of empty object in Blender called the “image object”. We will cover different ways to create “image object”. Then discuss each of the features more in-depth. And finally how to add background images in camera view which is a bit different than using the “image object”.
