The wealth, the scandals, the headbands - who could forget the hit TV series that showcased rich teenagers behaving badly in New York's Upper East Side? Now, Gossip Girl is set to follow a new generation of private school kids in a spinoff coming to streaming service HBO Max. It's ordered 10 episodes of a new Gossip Girl series that will be set eight years after the original series ended in 2012 and will highlight how much social media and New York itself has changed over the years. The highly popular series ran for six seasons on the CW network in the US and sparked many a fashion trend based on the styles of Serena van der Woodsen and Blair Waldorf.
