DIY Fireplace Makeover Part One | Updating the Woodwork | Remodelaholic

In this video you will see how we are starting our fireplace makeover. This is part one of our fireplace makeover video series. It's amazing how much work has gone into this project to get it to where it is today. We will have more videos coming out as we complete each step of the process.

We are excited to show you what we did with updating the woodwork trim with scraps from our garage and some new shiplap boards from the store. We love how the new shiplap look over the mantel turned out and updated out fireplace. The shiplap over the mantel was part of the easiest parts of this makeover and made a big impact on the overall design.
