Additive Manufacturing has enabled different industries, from the healthcare to the automotive industry, to do things that were never before possible and bring products to the market much faster. Dr. Vishwas R Puttige, an engineering professional with rich background in research and development in manufacturing and expertise in additive manufacturing, spoke on his idea of how the manufacturing technology with special reference to Additive Manufacturing transforms the way products are manufactured along with its limitless applications.
Dr. Vishwas Ramadas Puttige is an engineering professional with a doctoral degree in the field of Automation and Adaptive Control Systems. He is involved in R&D, Business Development and General Management Assignments at AMS (Ace Micromatic Group). He’s an active researcher in the field of additive manufacturing and is currently the Business Head of amace solutions Pvt. Ltd., a company that provides end to end solutions in metal additive manufacturing. Dr. Vishwas Puttige is also an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor for Quality Management Systems and is a Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma Implementation Processes.
