Raheem Sterling is set to debut a new set of boots after his blistering start to the season. Manchester City forward Sterling helped his side to a brilliant 5-1 win over Atalanta in the Champions League this week. The 24-year-old grabbed a hat-trick at the Etihad - his second of the season in all competitions. And he is set to be rewarded by being the face of Nike’s new ‘Fire’ pack of boots. Earlier this year, it was reported by the Telegraph that Sterling was being touted as the new face of Air Jordan’s introduction into the footballing scene. Air Jordan had a successful collaboration with PSG last season, which carried into this term, and they are now considering delving deeper into the football market. The basketball giant is a subsidiary of the Nike brand, and is set to launch their first range of football boots before too long. And Sterling will reportedly be the first player chosen to wear those new boots, with speculation suggesting he will sign a £100million deal with Nike.
