Employees at Trinidad Cement Limited (TCL) staged a protest outside of the company's building on the Southern Main Road, to protest a new policy, that subjects workers to breathalyzer testing, before being allowed access to the compound.
Union Representative Ahmad Mohammed said they have no issue with breathalyzers being done, but rather the fact that there was no consultation before such a decision was made. The workers are again pleading with their management to meet with them, to come to some resolve on the matter.
