Most mature Christians agree that the number 1 reason to fast is to grow closer to God, and so for anyone longing to know Jesus PERSONALLY - INTIMATELY - and are frustrated and discouraged in the matter, we believe the Holy Spirit would have them take a serious look to the spiritual weapon of FASTING. In one sense, our determination to fast to get breakthrough in this arena of getting to know Jesus personally - intimately - demonstrates to God the Father just how DESPERATE we are in wanting intimacy with Jesus.
