It's getting real late, and to be honest- i am behind on my work/schedule for the week. I still have to create my sketchbook story for this Sunday, and I will catch up more with you then. :-)
I hope you've been enjoying the end of summer, although that's sort of a cliche, empty phrase to say, I believe that each one of us has it within our own power to enjoy the time we have. to make it worthwhile, and cherished.
I'm not sure why, but I have been extremely observant lately in my day to day, and it makes me feel extremely in the moment. I worry less about the future, and feel completely grounded in the environment around me, to the point where I feel like the sights my eyeballs set on will one day only exist as a figment of the past in my brain, tucked away, as a fading memory. And that makes me cherish the now, to soak it in, while i am here and young, before it's over and done.
Thank you for sharing your time with me here, I had lots of fun making this. I love the color in my wardrobe, and can't wait for autumn and the cozy season of layering again.
About to get ready for bed (skincare routine) and then maybeee get a couple chapters in of a new novel I'm ready called "The Worrier's Guide to the End of the World". I bumped into this book in the sale section when I was shopping for a class textbook. Grabbed it, and it's been great so far.
