All Goa Tourist Taxi and Yellow Black Taxi owners have decided to stay off road for the 4th consecutive day. The Taxi Operators have demanded that GoaMiles be scraped; however, the Government has taken a firm decision not to scrap the app based taxi services.
The taxi operators have threatened the Government that they would willingly return their permits if the app was not scrapped by Thursday.
Responding to their threat, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has stated that no one told the taxi operators to surrender their permits.
CM has warned the taxi operators not to take Government for Granted.
Meanwhile, former Transport Minister Sudin Dhavalikar has stated that former CM late Manohar Parrikar made a mistake by giving extension to taxi operators over speed Governor, GPS & security number plate
