Good morning. The Korean Peninsula received heavy showers on Thursday due to Typhoon Krosa that hit Japan on the same day. Seoul saw more than 60 millimeters. Fortunately,. the rain has tapered off, but we could still see light sporadic showers during the day so have an umbrella handy.
Daily highs will be 1 to 4 degrees higher than yesterday hovering in the low thirties. Seoul getting up to 31 degrees Celsius. Daegu will be sweltering hot at 34 degrees. It's very likely heat alerts will expand to more southern regions as the day goes on.
We won't be having any major heat waves this weekend with morning rain in store on Saturday. Afternoon highs will remain on the warm side for a while, but we'll definitely have more comfortable nights.
That's Korea for you and here's the international weather for viewers around the world.
