COLLEGE MOVE-IN VLOG 2019 // in which i move into college. filmed on august 9th, 2019.

k so i feel like this video deserves an explanation bc it's probably confusing if ur a freshman at sdsu. okay so i'm living in maya and olmeca, which is a freshman dorm, but i moved in early bc i'm an academic mentor...hence it being empty bc august 9th was staff move in day. so you know how typical schools have ra's, well we have ra's and am's (i'm an am). an am, short for academic mentor, lives in the freshman dorm w the students and is a resource for them. so i explain to people who don't really know like this: ra's handle life things and am's handle school things. but often times the titles cross over bc at the end of the day we're all here for the residents. so yeah that's a quick low down as to why i moved into an empty building lol. also maya and olmeca is all doubles so i have my own room to myself but i have two sets of furniture, which is kinda nice bc i just use my other bed as like a couch/day bed..and then my bed bed is only for sleeping which keeps it cleaner bc i'm not eating/doing homework/hanging out on it. also a room tour is on it's way!!
