Tim Lumsden's my name from Tim Lumsden Online, helping a podiatrists and other healthcare practitioners with their Facebook advertising to generate more leads, which allows them to serve more patients, which then allows them to grow their businesses. Each week I come to you with a quick tip about Facebook advertising, either from a strategic point of view, or from a technical standpoint.
And today, we're going to talk about how to make sure your ads are always going to be approved. Now I just want to start by saying that Facebook has some very good guidelines in place in its advertising policy to keep the quality of the advertisements on Facebook high. And by keeping the quality of the ads high, it means it's going to keep the users, i.e. all your potential patients on Facebook, right? So that's the first thing to note.
The second thing is to always comply with that policy. Now when it comes to medical conditions, what Facebook will not allow and never will allow, is when you say things like, "Do you suffer from x?" Or, "Do you have y?" Because Facebook do not want you to be singling out people for their particular conditions. Now if you follow along with these quick tips, you'll realise that to be successful with Facebook ads, you 100% should be focusing on people's problems. But there's a way to word it, and that's what this quick tip is all about. Wording it, or if you're doing videos, talking about it, using language that Facebook allows.
So rather than saying, once again we'll use the example of heel pain, rather than saying, "Do you have heel pain?" what you can say is that heel pain is something which affects a lot of people. Or you might say, "Heel pain can stop people from doing the things that they want to do." As opposed to, "Do you suffer from heel pain, and therefore can't do the things that you want to do?"
It's a small tweak, but it actually makes a huge, huge difference to Facebook. And as I said before, what we want to do is make sure we comply with what Facebook says. So, hope you enjoyed today's quick tip. If you follow this, you will always have your ads approved.
