ADDRESS HATE SPEECH IN THE COUNTRY: NCIC embarks on education exercise

The National Cohesion and Integration Commission, NCIC has embarked on an exercise to educate police officers countrywide to be able to handle cases of hate speech, especially those peddled by politicians.

NCIC senior legal officer, Mwengi Kyalo while conducting the training in Kakamega county, expressed concern about a rise in such cases saying they had contributed to creating enmity and unnecessary wrangles among Kenyans.
