This does have gears in the rear axle. 8.8 with 4.10 gears. Outside of that bone stock. Went 13.58 @ 100 MPH in the quarter mile pass at the drag strip! I actually built this for my dads 60th birthday 5 years ago or so. He never drives it so we gotta knock the dust off from time to time lol!
