Armed police and the UPDF from Masaka Kasijjagirwa armoured brigade have been deployed in Lukaya town in Kalungu, to disperse angry truck drivers carrying matooke from Mbarara and Masaka. The traders went on rampage in protest against what they perceived as corrupt UNRA officials at Lukaya axle weighing bridge along Masaka-Kampala high way.
