Jesus often used meals to engage with people and teach important lessons to them. Each meal carried a deeper meaning simply by who sat around the table. In Luke 19, we see Jesus accept an invitation to a meal by someone that would’ve turned the heads of the religious. And it is in this one meal, that one man’s life is transformed forever. Jesus was willing to do whatever He needed to make sure Zacchaeus knew His love, and it all started with a meal. In the Kingdom of God, tables become places of testimony and meals can become agents of a greater message.
In our mission to connect people to Jesus and one another, Southeast Christian Church has grown into a unified multisite community. We have multiple campuses serving the specific needs of the areas in which they are located, while receiving centralized leadership and teaching from the Blankenbaker Campus in Louisville, KY.
