Healthacross: cross-border patient care - Interreg V-A AT-CZ short version

Health without borders - this is the goal of the EU project Healthacross for future, which has been awarded by the WHO as best practice and is currently being implemented within the framework of the EU funding programme "Interreg V-A Austria - Czech Republic".

Since 2013, Czech patients can be treated on an outpatient basis at the Landesklinikum Gmünd, and thanks to Healthacross for future this should soon be possible on an inpatient basis. In addition, the first cross-border health centre is being built in Gmünd/České Velenice.

The "Interreg V-A Austria - Czech Republic" programme currently supports 60 projects with 324 participating project partners - from universities and museums to municipalities and associations - in the project regions of Lower Austria, Vienna and Upper Austria and in the Czech Republic (South Bohemia, South Moravia and Vysočina).
