5 Signs That It May Be Time To Stop Querying [CC] Querying can be a tough and at times confusing journey. And knowing when it's time to stop, take a break, or shelve a book is not as obvious as it may seem. This video is about sharing 5 signs that it may be time to stop querying so you have some help deciding what you would like to do.

In case you didn't know, querying is the process of sending a pitch letter to literary agents in the hopes that they will solicit more material from you, and eventually offer to represent you. This is the first big step in the traditional publishing process (besides writing a book!) and allows you to submit your manuscript to major publishers for purchasing consideration.

I've queried three books altogether and was able to snag an agent on my third go. You can learn more about that story here: - that being said, it was a lengthy journey and I've gone through that experience of deciding whether to keep going with a book or take a break.
