Visiting a French Winery Run by Veterans

Visiting a French Winery Run by Veterans At the Domaine du Capitaine Danjou winery in southeastern France, retired members of the French Foreign Legion harvest grapes and bottle red, rosé and white wine. The work is hard but therapeutic, providing a sense of purpose and peace. And you can’t beat the scenery. The property is also the site of a retirement home for those who have served in the elite branch of the French Army.
