Thai street food vs Thai restaurant food and prices

All this food - the meet, pancake, the rice with omelet, coconut water and lychees cost me around 100 thai bhat which is roughly around 3 EUR. Very very cheap!

Now this is a one hell of a huge shopping mall, you can find everything you wish for, from top brands to clothing trailed to your own desire.

If we have to compare the street food with the dishes we are having here, there is a massive difference in price, but also quality.

If I spent around 3 Euros on all that food at the local market, here the price for a pad thai, green curry, desert and a juice for 2 people, can go up to 15-20 EUR. Way more than in the market, but still cheaper than in the western world.

I cant help it, I simply love Thailand, it is an amazing country with some of the beaches on the world, let's not even talk about the food, it unique and the best food you will ever eat in your life, but unfortunately the time is flying fast and I need to rush to catch my flight to Japan.
