This video goes over how to do one stone honing. The Jasper is extremely responsive to whatever grit it has been prepared with. It is ultra hard, so it never dishes out. If you generate a slurry with a diamond plate you can quickly take a dull edge back to mirror polished and Razorsharp. Ball park estimate is up to 30k grit,
Since a solid mirror polish happens at that level of fineness, or a half micron particle scratch mark to be precise.
