For one of the Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 2 Winterfest challenges you need to "Search Ammo Boxes at The Workshop, Shiver Inn, or Ice Throne".
You only need to search 2 ammo boxes in ANY of the three locations, so you can get two ammo boxes in only Shiver Inn for example. Once you've searched two you'll have completed the challenge.
SEARCH AMMO BOXES AT THE WORKSHOP, SHIVER INN OR ICE THRONE FORTNITE - WINTERFEST LOCATIONS
As part of the many challenges in Winterfest, you will need to find and search two Ice Boxes. Doing so will get you more of the great free loot that has been given out as part of Winterfest. So far, the loot has included skins, wraps, Back Bling, Gliders, and music. So who knows what the reward for this challenge will be. Well, we do, and it will be the Polar Renegade spray.
Fortnite ammo box Locations
On the map above, you will see the locations of several ammo boxes. All you need to do is get to them and search them. They can contain weapons, items, and even lumps of coal. You only need to search two of them, which is pretty easy to do in a single match if you plan accordingly.
Dropping in at Holly Hedges is the best place if you want to wrap them both up in the same match. Just hit the one to the west of Holly Hedges, then hurry on over to the Weeping Woods, or down towards Slurpy Swamp, and grab the other one.
That's it for this challenge, search two Ice Boxes, and you are done. If you can't get it done today, don't worry, you have until Jan. 7 to wrap up any of the Winterfest Challenges that you still need to do. There are more challenges on the way, so be sure to check back for more helpful guides.
Search Ammo Boxes at The Workshop, Shiver Inn or Ice Throne (2)
The Fortnite Workshop, Shiver Inn, and Ice Throne locations are three more new landmarks, and although we know the Shiver Inn is found on a snowy ridge in map grid G7, the other two have not been clearly identified yet. All you need to do is visit one of them and open a couple of ammo boxes, so get over to Shiver Inn and wrap this up.
Holiday-themed Winterfest event has started in Fortnite Chapter 2 (Season 1) and one of the Winterfest Challenges requires us to "Search Ammo Boxes at The Workshop, Shiver Inn, or Ice Throne".
The workshop is located on the west side of Weeping Woods. Shiver Inn is located across the river on the south east side of Lazy Lake. Ice Throne is located on the north side of Pleasent Park.
We need to search only 2 ammo boxes to complete this challenge.
