Rescue Orphaned Baby Koala from Australian Bushfire Will Melt Your Heart Smokey, one of Koalas that have been rescued from the fire ground at Harrington crowded by a national park. His mother died in the bushfire before she can be rescued.
He's suffered severe burns. Burns to all his paws his nose chin inside his ears backs of his legs his scrotum and his first been singed. He's in critical care. We're keeping him sedated at this stage has he's been highly distressed from the fire.
It's not sure at this stage where he will survive but will be giving him everything.
