There’s been much talk online and off about Ouspensky and George Gurdjieff. The majority of it is overworked refried Dog Poop that is extremely long-winded and very over intellectual. So I’ll just stick with my personal experience. I discovered Ouspensky in a bookstore in Ann Arbor Mi in 2006 and the book hit me like a bomb. Hands down, the most important book I have ever read. And it was this book that was the beginning of the end for me approaching anything close to so-called normal life. Because I got a peek into the Real Situation.
Human beings are living in the hypnotic bubble of their own making which is driven by the impulses/interpretation of their own belief system. This process is then reinforced by habit. The end result is everyone is asleep in this life and so are you.
