On Saturday, January 4, 2020, Julissa Martinez addressed a group of parents about issues that concerned them. Julissa is running to become the new District Attorney of Ellis County. In this second of five videos, Julissa was stated that she not only would enforce Interference with Child Custody (25.03), but she would educate police chiefs on their responsibilities when responding to calls.
If we want to see changes in the justice system--we need to start electing qualified, competent, and courageous district attorneys into office. Based on my conversation with her and what I saw and heard, I fully support her and urge others to do so and to spread the word about her.
