Gengar has been around since Generation 1 and is still solid! This Pokemon has a very unique typing of Poison-Ghost which has a bunch of weaknesses but equal resistances and immunity to Fighting and Normal-Type attacks. This Pokemon has great SP. ATK and SPEED stats, which is good because it has very subpar bulk. Fortunately though it has a great move pool to support its speed and SP. ATK with moves like Sludge Bomb, Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Icy Wind, Thunderbolt, and Dazzling Gleam. It also has an array of solid support attacks like Taunt, Will-O-Wisp, Imprison and even Trick Room. You can use this Pokemon offensively or for support, however it shines more as a special attacking offensive Pokemon. This Pokemon is a safe switch-in against Normal and Fighting-Type attacks which is good since Max Replenish is quite powerful, along with threats like Conkeldurr which is rising in popularity. Overall this Pokemon is a fairly promising Special attacker with a great move pool. As always if you like this kind of content like and subscribe!
