Today we’ll be rehousing my Pamphobeteus cf. antinous (Big Black) tarantula.

When I first got her, she was housed in a smaller enclosure, which the substrate in it always dried out. Living in a country with hot weather all year round would mean that this species should be kept on damper substrate to retain the coolness. With that, we’ll be rehousing her into a plastic tub, which will allow the moisture (humidity) as well as temperature to be maintained better as compared to her previous enclosure.

(P/S. This video was filmed several months back and she is doing super well till this day).
