This video shows the best ways to preserve fresh tomatoes for as long as you wish. If you love tomatoes and like to stock up on tomatoes just like me, for use in various cooking, such as jollof rice, stew, soup, tomato soup, tomato juice and more, this video is for you.

Tomatoes are perishable fruits, so they have the tendency to spoil once they have reached their utmost ripeness and loose their flavour. By using these methods of preservation or storage, be rest assured that you will continue to use or eat fresh tomatoes all year round (meaning, throughout the year) without any worry that they would become expensive or spoil. The best temperature to store fresh tomatoes is said be between 16 to 20ºC, which is clearly lower than average room temperature of 23 to 25ºC. Higher temperature speeds up ripeness of fresh tomatoes as well as spoilage.

Like other fruits, fresh tomatoes are seasonal and perishable (that is, it is liable to decay or spoil or go bad quite quickly). Additionally, tomatoes can be very expensive when it is not in season. So why don’t you use this smart ways to save money and store fresh tomatoes forever.
