A Northern Nigeria elder statesman Tanko Yakasai has claimed that Amotekun, the newly created security outfit of the Southwest Nigeria, is a private army in the making and could influence secessionist agenda. The Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, alleges that the Facebook page of their leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been shut. The group made this known through its publicity secretary Emma Powerful.
