In this interesting interview Dr Polisetty Ravishankar tries to explain how his understanding of Ayurveda from original Sanskrit scriptures and the knowledge and data generated from the translational research has quantified Vaatha, Pittha and Kapha, in the language of modern science for the first time. His animal experiments have helped him understand basics of a new subject – “Mathematical Biology” and generate software algorithms for data science as applied in human physiology.
