Spoke on The Taxation Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2019. Raised issues with implementation of GST and slowing of economy due to demonetisation. Questioned the Centre on the measures it is undertaking to control high food inflation and fiscal deficit in the country. Recommended the Centre to bring about an integrated direct tax reform and the need to revive the demand, especially in rural India. Requested the Executive to take criticism positively and implement the recommendations.
