Jingle Bells played by electric toothbrushes and a bell of a telephone. An RC car pulls the telephone and two toothbrushes through snowy forests and over frosty fields. To protect the toothbrushes from frostbites, I made scarfs and earmuffs for them. The scarfs are made from a ribbon and the earmuffs are made of two pompoms from pompom ribbon, connected together with a piece of wire. It was a surprise for me how the scarfs rotate and move up and down around the necks of the toothbrushes while they play.
I bought this old telephone (from the year 1981) a couple of months ago and I had been wanting to test it since then. The device looked so Christmassy with its bells that I decided to do Jingle Bells on it. The toothbrushes are tuned to the bell.
It quickly turned out that the RC car I used was not made for wintry surfaces. The wheels spun all the time on the snowy and icy paths. But with the help of downhills, I was able to get enough sleigh ride footage. #JingleBells, #Christmas
