How to (almost) instantly boost iMac performance

In this weeks tutorial I show you how to install Mac OSX to an external SSD drive and dramatically increase the performance of your iMac. Even on the 2019 models of the iMac, they can still come with mechanical spinning HDD’s that impact the true performance of the device. Is it a way to get you to spend more money? Absolutely. But did you know you can buy a relatively cheap, yet sizeable, SSD drive that will perform almost as good as an internal solid state drive? I had my reservations but it absolutely boosted performance on my 2015 iMac. The drive used in today’s example is the Samsung T5 which is one of the better drives on the market.
