Ginsburg Says ‘Impartial’ Senators Shouldn’t Vote On Impeachment

Ginsburg Says ‘Impartial’ Senators Shouldn’t Vote On Impeachment Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has weighed in on Democrat efforts to reverse the 2016 election through impeachment and as usual, her judicial activism was showing.

The ailing far-left judge who is worshiped with a cult-like reverence by the anti-American resistance opined that President Trump should not be allowed the benefit of a fair trial in the Senate and that key Republicans should be disqualified.

During an interview with the British BBC, the 86-year-old radical commented that any Senator who isn't "impartial" should be forced to withdraw from the upcoming show trial of the duly-elected POTUS.

She also took a cheap shot at Trump who she sniped at for not being a lawyer.

Via The UK Independent, "RBG says Trump 'is not a lawyer' and suggests biased senators should be disqualified":

Asked whether Donald Trump could petition the Supreme Court to stop his impeachment, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said: "The president is not a lawyer. He's not law trained."

Ms Ginsburg, speaking in a wide-ranging conversation with the BBC's Razia Iqbal, also implied that senators who have already expressed their verdict in the president's likely impeachment trial should be disqualified.

She said: "Should a trial be impartial? Of course. That's the job of a judge to be impartial."

Ms Igbal asked: "So if a senator says, 'I've already made up my mind and the trial doesn't exist at the moment,' there is no accountability, is there?"

Ms Ginsburg replied: "If a judge said that, a judge would be disqualified from the case."

RBG's comments are already being interpreted as being directed at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell who is facing demands to recuse himself by Democrats and their vicious lynch mob.

McConnell dared to challenge the unconstitutional coup wrapped in a fraudulent case of impeachment by stating that in a political process, that he was not an "impartial" juror.

Per McConnell:

“I’m not an impartial juror”

“This is a political process. This is not anything judicial about it”

“Impeachment is a political decision. The House made a partisan political decision to impeach,”

“I would anticipate we will have a largely partisan outcome in the Senate. I’m not impartial about this at all.”

That Ginsburg is whining about partisanship is yet another example of the left's raging hypocrisy considering that she herself is an unrepentant activist who is biased to her very core.

Touted by CNN as the “face” of the resistance to Trump, Ginsburg is a celebrity who has been featured in movies and a hagiographic documentary "RBG" that is unprecedented for an "unbiased" jurist on the nation's highest court.

She has also sparked a line of kitsch merchandise including t-shirts, mugs, hats, action figures and Christmas tree decorations that are snapped up as prized totems by her obsessive followers.

RBG's history of health issues including a recent bout with lung cancer would appear to be an indicator that she won't be on the bench much longer when retirement - or God forbid death - ends her tenure.

And then President Trump can continue the job of remaking the courts in his image and in accordance with the U.S. Constitution.
