The BHS/ Coop building has been a common feature of Hull's city centre since the 1960's. The Three Ships Mural on the front side of the building, a proud reminder of the cities rich fishing heritage, making it one of Hull's most Iconic buildings. But this buildings history goes way beyond its famous mural and its days as a department store. In its hayday, the top floors of the building were used as a nightclub. And on one special night in 1963, Rock's greatest guitarist Jimi Hendrix took to the stage.
Join us Apocalypse Boys as we take a final look around BHS. This will be the very last footage of the interior of the building. The building is set for demolition and the clock is ticking, this famous Hull landmark will soon disappear forever.
