This time we explore the abandoned buildings of the BHS department store in Hull UK, One of the many abandoned places in the area.
The BHS/ Coop building has been a common feature of Hull's city centre since the 1960's. The Three Ships Mural on the front side of the building, a proud reminder of the cities rich fishing heritage, making it one of Hull's most Iconic buildings. But this buildings history goes way beyond its famous mural and its days as a department store. In its hayday, the top floors of the building were used as a nightclub. And on one special night in 1963, Rock's greatest guitarist Jimi Hendrix took to the stage.
