फीस बढ़ोतरी के खिलाफ प्रदर्शन करने वाले जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय (जेएनयू) के छात्रों ने केंद्रीय मानव संसाधन मंत्री से आश्वासन मिलने के बाद धरना खत्म कर दिया. इसके बाद छात्रों का प्रतिनिधिमंडल मानव संसाधन मंत्री रमेश पोखरियाल 'निशंक' से मिला. मंत्री ने फीस बढ़ोतरी वापस लेने का आश्वासन दिया है.कन्हैया कुमार ने सरकार के रवैये पर सवाल उठाया और कहा कि जेएनयू में गरीब छात्र पढ़ते हैं इसलिए फीस नहीं बढ़ाई जानी चाहिए.
