Face Eye Priority in AF

Face Eye Priority in AF changed in 2019 via firmware updates for the third generation of full frame cameras and all new Alpha cameras released after January 2019.

Eye AF is now on by default in AF-C and you no longer need to press a custom key to activate it. Some of the changed behaviours, however, are a little more subtle, e.g. why is it still useful to assign a Custom key to Eye AF?
