Rut Hunting Strategies: Take Advantage of the Big Changes in Behavior Every deer hunter is thinking of hunting the rut. It's the time of year when deer behavior and patterns change. When most hunters talk about the rut, they are talking about the peak of the rut. That week or two when most does in an area are receptive to breeding and bucks are chasing everywhere. Good wildlife management tactics, deer management, and food plots with regenerative ag techniques that build better soils! Watch our weekly episodes to see what we're doing, the advice that Dr. Grant Woods (Ph.D Wildlife Biologist) has to share along the way.
