Playing Playstation 4 Racing Games With Specialized Handheld Steering Controllers (vid #42)

Playing Playstation 4 Racing Games With Specialized Handheld Steering Controllers (vid #42) Today's presentation touches on the same topic that my video from September 2nd was all about-- Handheld racing controllers. In today's episode, I will show you various options for playing your PS4 racing games with accessories that can be attached to the Dual Shock 4, or actual handheld racing controllers from either the PS3 generation, PS2 generation, or way back from the PS1 generation. Some of these controllers may be a trip down memory lane for you, or maybe you'll see something for added racing game control that you had no idea existed.

In today's presentation, I mentioned that you can use a Cronusmax Plus adapter to get the motion-control for steering working in all your PS4 racing games. This is accomplished by running a specific "GPC Script" in the device. If you have interest in doing this, make sure you download the Cronus Pro software and take a look at the User Manual which comes with it. This manual has a Quickstart Guide that has nine bullet points that you'll want to familiarize yourself with. Once you learn about running GPC scripts in your Cronusmax Plus, you'll go to the GPC library and do a search for a script that has the ability to map the left thumbstick directions to your Dual Shock 4's internal motion sensors. When you implement this, the tilting of the controller will emulate the movement of the Dual Shock 4's left stick so you can tilt to steer in each and every driving game- even the ones that weren't compatible with motion controls innately.
