Figure Note: Stop-Motion Transformation of Mastermind Creations R-27 Calidus. I picked this guy up at TFCON in VA yesterday, so he saved me having to do those boring SS deluxe constructicons. Another great figure from MMC. There are these little tabs on the sides of the chest piece and it is quite pleasing that they are employed in BOTH modes to lock things together. Nice solid design.

Production Note: Nothing tricky with this guy. The main slider liked to slowly slip down as I transformed it so you can chuckle at that happening.

If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using the Chrome plugin called "Frame by Frame for YouTube". It turns your , and . keyboard keys into single-frame movement keys. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.
