How To Pill A Cat. Easily. Here are 3 steps I take to pill a cat.
In this video, I demonstrate the administration process for you.
I don't know if you're aware of this, but most cats aren't easily convinced to eat something they don't like the taste of. This can make cat pill administration a secret skill. You can add it to your resume once you've learned it!
The 3 steps are:
1. Wrap the cat up in a towel
2. Hold the cats head from behind with a gentle & firm grip of your index and middle finger
3. Use your other hand to tip the cats head back, open the mouth and administer the pill.
Some cats are easy to administer medication to, but others can be very difficult. Have the cats nails trimmed before giving them medication. It will help from leaving your hands and arms from being scratched.
