SUBSCRIBE to Coaches' Voice: In this video, Chris Hughton talks about spending 13 years at Tottenham Hotspur before returning in a coaching capacity and later going on to work with Kevin Keegan at Newcastle.
Hughton signed as a part-time footballer with Spurs in 1977 and trained as a lift engineer, then signed to be a full-time professional footballer two years later.
Hughton played 398 games for Tottenham in all competitions before moving onto West Ham and then later, Brentford.
Hughton went back to Tottenham in a coaching capacity and worked with various managers before moving up north to work alongside Keegan.
