Being A Rapper Isn't What You Think It Is | Post Malone, Lil Nas X & Juice WRLD - Now, being a rapper in 2019 is far from what it once used to be. You don't really need to be spitting anymore, matter of fact - you technically don't even need to rap. Post Malone, Lil Nas X and Juice WLRD are three really good examples of what I'm talking about. There was a time in 2015 when Posty was considered a rapper, and it was for a reason. A lot of singing/rapping artists were starting to pop up at this time. Fetty Wap & Dej Loaf are two really good examples of this along with Post of course. There was a shift in the rap game that was happening, and this shift has expanded ever since then with artists like Lil Nas X and Juice WRLD winning. That's what I talk about.
